Commissioned by Nordic Noir And Beyond, we created an original trailer for the new Swedish Noir series.
Modus, follows psychologist and ex- FBI profiler Inger Johanne Vik as she finds herself and 
her autistic daughter drawn into an investigation surrounding a series of disturbing and brutal deaths in Stockholm.
Soon to be a hit on BBC4, Modus is on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital December 19.


The Code Series 2

GVFilm recently delivered the Home Entertainment trailer for the BBC4 series ‘The Code’.
The second series delves even deeper into the Dark Web. When two Australians are murdered by militia in West Papua, Internet journalist Ned (Dan Spielman) and his cyber hacker brother Jesse (Ashley Zukerman) are threatened with deportation by the Australian authorities unless they agree to help with the case. Tasked with finding Jan Roth (Anthony LaPaglia), the lone survivor of the militia attack and fugitive founder of an illegal website linked to human trafficking, the brothers soon find themselves in the middle of a complex investigation with potentially far-reaching consequences.

Follow The Money

Follow The Money is the latest Nordic series  from the Danish broadcaster DR, the home of  ‘The Killing’, ‘Borgen’ and ‘The Bridge’,  Already a hit on BBC4, Arrow label Nordic Noir and Beyond
commissioned this Official UK Trailer for the Digital and Home Entertainment release.
GVFilm scripted and edited the trailer, producing graphics and initial 5.1 mix in-house with final mastering at Tambourine Audio.

Richard Wells (Being Human) and mixed in surround by Nick Harris at Tamborine.
The night before a high profile operation on the Prime Minister, the surgeon due to perform the procedure, Yael, is
surprised at her family home by four masked assailants. The gang quickly take control of Yael and her family and
order her to kill the Prime Minister on the operating table in the morning, or else they will kill her family, Yael does her best to manage
the situation, and buy her precious family some time, by injecting the Prime Minister with medication to disrupt his
nervous system giving her medical grounds to delay the operation. Under constant pressure from her captors to perform
the fatal surgery, Yael lives daily with the very real and growing threat to her family. An atmosphere of increasing mistrust
and paranoia develops between the hostages and the Kidnappers whilst Yael balances the preservation of her family
against the life of the Prime Minister in this gripping and twisting ten-part part drama.

Crimes Of Passion

Arrow Films’ Nordic Noir label is pleased to confirm the Monday 6th October 2014 UK DVD box set release of thrilling Swedish period drama “Crimes Of Passion”.
The series, currently airing in BBC Four’s coveted Saturday evening slot, is based on six novels by legendary Swedish crime writer Maria Lang, whose work helped shape the renowned Murder Mystery genre in Sweden.
