This is Ithaqua: the wind with teeth. A remote 1800s fur-trade outpost is plagued by an ancient evil with an insatiable hunger for flesh. The cold is the least of anyone’s problems. Directed by Casey Walker and starring Luke Hemsworth, Leenah Robinson, Kevin Durand, Craig Lauzon and Michael Pitt. This is a haunting folk horror experience where isolation, hunger and myth collide. Hammer Presents is proud to bring Ithaqua to UK screens, premiering at FrightFest this weekend, ahead of its full release in early 2027.

GV Film has worked with Hammer Films and Sales agents Kaleidoscope Film Distribution on sales trailers over the past 2 years. While sales trailers concentrate on selling the plot and concept to International buyers for distribution, this is the first public teaser released by Hammer. We crafted this teaser with Hammer to show the world of Ithaqua, but not reveal too much story or show any spoilers. It is all about atmosphere, dread and horror. The teaser is also announcing a new era of Hammer production…so no pressure!
