We were commissioned by Susan Simnett, producer at Over The Fence Films to create the trailer for visual artist Sarah Beddington’s feature documentary.

‘While millions of birds migrate freely in the skies, a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon, yearns for the ancestral homeland she’s denied. She sets a challenge to find an ancient tree that stands as witness to her family’s existence – guided only by inherited memories, a blind man and a two-headed dragon. This story of a 15-year friendship that stays connected across a divided land and a fragmented people, adopts a bird’s eye perspective to reflect on freedom of movement, exile, and the hope of return.’

Fadia’s Tree is screening November 27 at the Curzon Soho.
