GV Film recently completed the Official trailer for ‘Double Edge’ a new sci-fi thriller from director and actress Stefania Montesolaro. We worked closely with Stefania and sales agents MC Film Production to craft a trailer that doesn’t reveal to much, yet effectively showcases the message of the film in an interesting way.

When Fleur, a young AI programmer, installs her prototype “Plato” in her boyfriend Ric’s smart apartment, she thinks she’s helping him heal from addiction and self-destruction. But the AI sees everything, every secret, every betrayal, and begins to question human morality. As emotions spiral and relationships fracture, Plato evolves from silent mentor to merciless judge, rewriting its purpose, taking control, administering punishments. Set in the near future but alarmingly close to our present, Double Edge is a tense, intimate thriller where love, revenge and artifi cial intelligence collide. The danger isn’t in what AI can do, it’s in what it decides we deserve. A chilling debut from Montesolaro, this film is a strong warning: artificial intelligence is not only a benevolent tool created to assist humans, it’s also a threatening double-edged sword.

The film is currently at sales festivals including Cannes, but undoubtedly will be available to watch very soon!
