The Sound Of Sherlock: The Abominable Bride In Dolby Atmos

In December 2015 audio innovators Dolby invited us to their London HQ to shoot an interview with the people behind the incredible Dolby Atmos mix on Sherlock: The Abominable Bride.

The holiday special of the BBC’s fast-paced modernised crime drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous sleuth, was released in cinemas for New Year screenings and is now available on Blu – Ray which includes the Dolby Atmos mix.
Set in Victorian London, this special episode follows Sherlock Holmes (Cumberbatch) and John Watson (Martin Freeman) as they take on the mysterious case of Emelia Ricoletti (Natasha O’Keeffe), a crazed bride who opened fire on innocent bystanders in the street before turning the gun on herself. However, the vengeful bride later appears, seemingly from beyond the grave, to murder her husband. With help from his brother Mycroft (Mark Gatiss) and trusty sidekick Watson, will Sherlock be able to solve the case of the abominable bride?
