Lucifer Star Machine ‘Your Love Remains’

We were recently commissioned by Hamburg based rock band ‘Lucifer Star Machine’ to shoot, direct and edit a promo for their ‘Your Love Remains’ 7inch release on Self Destructo Records.
Inspired by 70’s and 80’s grind-house movies it stars models June Summer and Tanna Barthel and Holger Sichart as the ‘The undead stalker’.
It was shot by long time GVFilm collaborator Dan Poole, with kit being provided by Timebomb Pictures.
Directed by our very own ‘Baron Von Strange’, GVFilm edited and graded the promo in-house as well as adding all aged film effects and providing a 4K master.

The Hip Priests – ‘Vodkacoma Casanova’

GVFilm were commissioned by bass player and band leader ‘Lee Love’ of ‘The Hip Priests’ to film a music promo for their upcoming release ‘Black Denim Blitz’.
The band had the idea of filming in a cramped spot – and they succeeded by finding the tiniest toilet cubicles they could at the infamous Pipeline Bar in London.
Directed by Baron Von Strange and DOP Dan Poole, the promo was shot on the tiny ‘digital 16mm’ Blackmagic pocket cinema camera and edited and graded at GVFilm.

Vodkacoma Casanova is the lead single of the album which is out on Ghost Highway records in Europe and Selfdestructo records/Strange Magic/AM Vinyl records in the USA.

Lucifer Star Machine: ‘Dead And Gone’

In a break from the norm, GVFilm recently filmed and produced a set of music promos for the London based ‘trailer trash poets’ Lucifer Star Machine for their new album ‘Rock ‘n Roll Martyrs’.

The first single ‘Dead And Gone’ can be seen below, and the album has been picking up rave reviews around the globe.
