Maison Close

Arrow Films have just released the trailer for Season 2 of the French Drama

We have had quite a French themed month at GVFilm. We have created trailers for ‘The Returned’, ‘Jo’ and now Maison Close.  The hit, very naughty drama is in it’s second season and you can order the box set and see the trailer on Amazon here.

The NSFW red band version can be seen on the link below.

Primeval: New World

We have just completed a round of trailers and promotional material for EOne for some very exciting titles.
First up is ‘Primeval: New World,’ the hit dinosaur hunting series. Then we move into western territory with a trailer for ‘Hell On Wheels’.

Both trailers were produced in multiple versions for different markets with all scripting, editing, graphics, music licensing and mixing handled by GVFilm.

Exit

Two of the hottest Scandinavian actors in the same movie ? Take a look at the UK trailer for “Exit” starring Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, Hannibal) and Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood) in a violent and intriguing Swedish thriller from Arrow Films. Available on DVD and VOD.

A Hijacking

In Cinemas May 10th 2013, Tobias Lindholm’s tense sea-faring thriller is sure to be a big hit for Arrow Films.

This was a great trailer for GVFilm, and a lot of time in particular went on creating the atmospheric surround soundtrack. Be sure to check the trailer out in Cinemas or on iTunes when available for the full experience.

Tobias Lindholm made his directorial debut with the tough prison drama R (co-directed with Michael Noer, 2010). As a scriptwriter Lindholm has worked with Thomas Vinterberg on the acclaimed drama SUBMARINO (winner of the Nordic Council Film Prize) and THE HUNT (2012) with Mads Mikkelsen in the leading role (winner, Best Actor, Cannes 2012). Since 2010 he has written several episodes for the internationally acclaimed and BAFTA winning BORGEN with Pilou Asbæk (BORGEN, A FAMILY) and Søren Malling (THE KILLING, BORGEN, A ROYAL AFFAIR) in leading roles. Dar Salim’s credits include GAME OF THRONES and THE DEVIL’S DOUBLE.

The Killing 3

We love a bit of Nordic Noir at GVFilm, so were chuffed to bits to edit the latest moody and atmospheric trailer for the hit TV series ‘The Killing’ which completes Sarah Lund’s  journey into murder, intrigue and endless wooly jumpers. The trailer has been very well received with everyone wanting to ‘say goodbye’ to one of the best shows on TV.

21 Days: The Heineken Kidnapping

Genre star and film legend, Rutger Hauer stars in Arrow Films taut, true-life thriller. On DVD and Blu-Ray now.

In 1983 Alfred Heineken was one of the world s most successful brewers and perhaps the most influential man in the Netherlands and thus a target for kidnappers. He is snatched by a team of inexperienced, hot headed young criminals and is held for 21 gruelling days in a cold, cramped cell. Rendered powerless for the first time in his life, Heineken finds himself at the mercy of the gang s youngest member, who takes special pleasure in humiliating and frightening the business magnate. When the huge ransom is finally paid, Heineken is set free and begins to plot his elaborate revenge.

The Pact

EOne recently asked us to work on a motion poster for hit horror ‘The Pact’.

We are very pleased that our motion poster is being exclusively featured on the hey u guys website, check it out on this link.

False Trail

Another great, cinematic slice of Nordic Noir. ‘False Trail’ is in cinemas 28th July 2013.

It’s been fifteen years since Erik was forced to leave the Norrland Police Department. Since then he has become the National Murder Commission’s best interrogator. When Erik’s boss orders him back to his home town to solve a brutal murder, he hesitantly returns as the thought of going back stirs up unpleasant memories. What at first appears to be a simple murder soon proves to be something much more complicated.

REC:Genesis

For the Home Entertainment release of the third film in the hit ‘REC’ horror series, GVFilm teamed up with Fetch Publicity to create an innovative piece of Twitter theatre. Preceded by a gory ‘Red Band’ trailer and a Motion Poster, the campaign started in earnest with a viral ‘warning’ video which heralded a piece of Twitter theatre, written by acclaimed horror author and journalist Jason Arnopp.

GVFilm provided digital make up of all the participants as they were turned into their infected states before being saved by horror icon Emily Booth.

The full piece is collected on this link, and you can see all the imagery in its gory detail here, or read a more in-depth review

Or if your too lazy we made a full campaign video that explains it all:
