This was a great trailer for GVFilm, and a lot of time in particular went on creating the atmospheric surround soundtrack. Be sure to check the trailer out in Cinemas or on iTunes when available for the full experience.
Tobias Lindholm made his directorial debut with the tough prison drama R (co-directed with Michael Noer, 2010). As a scriptwriter Lindholm has worked with Thomas Vinterberg on the acclaimed drama SUBMARINO (winner of the Nordic Council Film Prize) and THE HUNT (2012) with Mads Mikkelsen in the leading role (winner, Best Actor, Cannes 2012). Since 2010 he has written several episodes for the internationally acclaimed and BAFTA winning BORGEN with Pilou Asbæk (BORGEN, A FAMILY) and Søren Malling (THE KILLING, BORGEN, A ROYAL AFFAIR) in leading roles. Dar Salim’s credits include GAME OF THRONES and THE DEVIL’S DOUBLE.
We love a bit of Nordic Noir at GVFilm, so were chuffed to bits to edit the latest moody and atmospheric trailer for the hit TV series ‘The Killing’ which completes Sarah Lund’s journey into murder, intrigue and endless wooly jumpers. The trailer has been very well received with everyone wanting to ‘say goodbye’ to one of the best shows on TV.
Genre star and film legend, Rutger Hauer stars in Arrow Films taut, true-life thriller. On DVD and Blu-Ray now.
In 1983 Alfred Heineken was one of the world s most successful brewers and perhaps the most influential man in the Netherlands and thus a target for kidnappers. He is snatched by a team of inexperienced, hot headed young criminals and is held for 21 gruelling days in a cold, cramped cell. Rendered powerless for the first time in his life, Heineken finds himself at the mercy of the gang s youngest member, who takes special pleasure in humiliating and frightening the business magnate. When the huge ransom is finally paid, Heineken is set free and begins to plot his elaborate revenge.
Another great, cinematic slice of Nordic Noir. ‘False Trail’ is in cinemas 28th July 2013.

For the Home Entertainment release of the third film in the hit ‘REC’ horror series, GVFilm teamed up with Fetch Publicity to create an innovative piece of Twitter theatre. Preceded by a gory ‘Red Band’ trailer and a Motion Poster, the campaign started in earnest with a viral ‘warning’ video which heralded a piece of Twitter theatre, written by acclaimed horror author and journalist Jason Arnopp.
GVFilm provided digital make up of all the participants as they were turned into their infected states before being saved by horror icon Emily Booth.
