Arrow Films is set to bring Irreversible and Enter the Void director Gaspar Noe’s new film Climax to UK cinemas. GVFilm were comissioned to regionalise existing assets for Theatrical distribution. The trailer was premiered exclusively on Flickering Myth.
Climax is set for release in the UK on September 21st.

The existing restoration trailer required a lower BBFC certification, a few edit tweaks and new end cards for individual cinema chains.
Re-edits and reformatting trailers for a host of different platforms can be a complex task, often hinging on legalities and technical specifications rather than content. GVFilm have provided this service for many international clients across the entertainment industry.
For this campaign GVFilm worked closely with the marketing department at Arrow to craft a new Theatrical Trailer for UK and US distribution as well as TV spots, online adverts and social media content.
Years after Europe was ravaged by the Maze virus, transforming people into cannibalistic monsters, a cure is finally found. In 75% of cases the treatment is successful but the cured remember everything they did while infected. Amongst them is Senan Browne (Sam Keeley), a man haunted by the memories of his actions. As he returns to the home of his brother’s widow, Abbie (Ellen Page), fear and suspicion threaten to plunge the world back into chaos.

GVFilm worked closely with Arrow Films and critically acclaimed director Stéphane Brizé (The Measure of a Man, Mademoiselle Chambon), to create this original Theatrical trailer for the UK release of ‘A Woman’s Life’ (Une Vie).

From the multi-awarding winning Director Jia Zhangke (A Touch of Sin, Still Life, The World) MOUNTAINS MAY DEPART, follows the life of Shen Tao (Tao Zhao), and those close to her, across three different time periods: 1999, 2014, and 2025. We worked closely with Arrow Films to create a new UK trailer edit, respecting the Director’s use of aspect ratios and creating new localised titles and graphics as well as sourcing music and producing a new Theatrical audio mix.
Earlier this year we were commissioned by Kaleidoscope Film Distribution to create a trailer for the animated adventure ‘Monster Island’ for sales use in film markets around the world.
We later created full International deliverables and a Theatrical UK version. GVFilm scripted, edited, mixed and created motion graphics in-house with audio deliverables and master mix by our friends at Tamborine Audio.
