Army Of One

GVFilm were commissioned by Arrow Films to create the Official UK trailer for Army Of One starring Nicolas Cage.
We created new animated UK graphics and oversaw deliverables of the localized version.

ARMY OF ONE is the (mostly) true story of Gary Faulkner (Nicolas Cage), an ex-con, unemployed handyman, and modern day Don Quixote who sets out on the unlikeliest of missions. Armed only with a Samurai sword, purchased from a home-shopping network, and the belief that he is following the express command of God (Russell Brand), he travels to Pakistan in order to capture Osama Bin Laden and bring him to justice. Gary’s is joined on his journey by old friends back home in Colorado, new friends he makes in Pakistan, and some new enemies he makes at the CIA, as well as God and Osama themselves – who all can’t help but be inspired and forever changed by coming in contact with such a force of nature as Gary.

We Are The Flesh

Commissioned by Arrow Films we regionalised and re-edited the trailer for We Are The Flesh for UK release, including mixing new surround audio deliverables and creating new graphics.

A visionary and bizarre slice of Mexican arthouse cinema, We Are The Flesh is an extraordinary and unsettling film experience, a sexually charged and nightmarish journey into an otherworldy dimension of carnal desire and excess, as well as a powerful allegory on the corrupting power of human desire. A young brother and sister, roaming an apocalyptic city, take refuge in the dilapidated lair of a strange hermit. He puts them to work building a bizarre cavernous structure, where he acts out his insane and depraved fantasies. Trapped in this maddening womb-like world under his malign influence, they find themselves sinking into the realms of dark and forbidden behaviour. Acclaimed by the Oscar-winning Mexican directors of The Revenant and Gravity, and playing to rave reviews and stunned audiences at genre film festivals around the world, We Are The Flesh is that rare beast – an intelligent, beautifully-crafted film that is also provocative and deeply disturbing.

The Sun And The Moon

A quick bit of re-branding on this trailer for the mesmerising new game from our friends at Digerati.  Branding and formatting for online stores can be complex,  and  GVFilm are always glad to help clients navigate their way through a successful platform release.

The Sun and Moon, the winner of Ludum Dare 29, is a platformer with a unique mechanic: you can dive into the ground. Momentum is conserved but gravity is reversed, letting you fling yourself high into the air or deep beneath the surface. The goal is always straightforward – collect the three orbs in the level and jump into the wormhole – but spikes, endless drops and impossible heights make this more and more difficult.
